Have you ever gotten a swollen arm from a needle?

Yesterday, I got a shot for swine flu. I've noticed that my arm is partly swollen and red. Not majorly, but its quite weird. Its never happened to me before. I told my parents, and they thought it might be an allergy to the band-aid. I'm not sure though. Has this ever happened to you?
