Is Will Ferrell not funny???

He was good on Snl, that's the only credit I can give him, but I just do not find him funny. I do not understand why people see him as such a funny guy who wins all the comedy awards. It's like he tries to hard, and he's so smug. The only reason he is seen as funny id because other people are doing funny things, he just happens to be in the scene. The only movie i liked him in was Zoolander, other than that... LAME!!! He's always playing the same character in every movie too. In movies like Anchorman, that figure skating one, the new basket ball one, bewitched, he plays some smug guy with a big ego. I just don't find him funny, and I just dont like his movies. Anyone else agree that Will Ferrell is unfunny???
