In mitosis, what happens to the original chromosome?
In meiosis 1, the original chromosome and the duplicated chromosome are next to each other. In mitosis, the original chromosome and the duplicated chromosome are not near each other. The duplicated chromosome goes through the process of mitosis, but what happens to the original chromosome?
