Is my friend gay? He may be but I am not too sure....?

Hi, i am 15 years old and about to do my GCSE exams but I have recently come out as been biual. One of my m8s hu i fancy knows and we get on great and sometimes hang out alone. He only just found out I was bi today. Hw often gets very close, for example tries to sit on my frontal wways then sits on the same seat a sme touches my legs and puts his arm round me. Other times he puts his head on my shoulder and says he loves me. He gets very close and i cant see that been a joke. he is no steryotype, just a normal friendly boy hu is my age. I want to be with him but i dont know if I should make a move or if I shud try talk to him about the way i feel. I suspect that he is gay but i am not sure. Any suggestions?
