How does littering affect the ozone layer?

Scientists and many people think that it would SOMEHOW affect the ozone layer by burying metal or plastic, ect. That is SO STUPID and doesn't make any sence at all whoever believes that is retarded i love to bury lots of plastic everywhere! The only thing I can find wrong with pollution is when it is in the ocean, and if it is making the streets look ugly, but other than thatm not recycling doesnt hurt ANYTHING!!!
